Christine McShea, Board Member

Christine McSheaChristine has worked for the Philadelphia Police Department for 30 plus years. She is currently retired from the Philadelphia Police Department. She was last assigned as a Patrol Commander in the West Philadelphia section of the city. Christine has worked as a police officer in patrol, a detective, a sergeant, lieutenant, and captain. Christine has worked in both a patrol and investigative capacity, and worked as an Internal Affairs investigator as both a sergeant and lieutenant. Christine has also worked in the Philadelphia Police Department's Training Bureau, as an instructor in the Police Academy and the In-Service Training program.

Christine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master's Degree in Strategic Leadership. Christine is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy, class #278.

Christine is a lifelong resident of the City of Philadelphia, who is proud to live in and having served the citizens of Philadelphia for over 30 years. Christine also comes from a long line of family in law enforcement & military personnel. Christine believes in and lives the values of integrity, fairness, and servant leadership. To be an effective leader, we have to first learn to follow. In making decisions, Christine always has at the forefront, "Would my children and family be proud of this decision?" Christine has a core belief that communication (effective or ineffective) is at the root of all success or failure.
